Snowshoeing the Forest’s Edge
I always find snowshoeing during a cold winter's day very enjoyable and relaxing way to traverse the landscape. The solo time spent in the silence of the windswept fields and forests with only a few animal tracks is very restorative to my soul.
Snowshoeing the Forest's Edge was painted in the studio after a hike in December 2016 on 9 x 12 sheet of 140lb (300g/m2) Strathmore Watercolour Paper.
